Anticipation

Anticipation has a huge presence in your life. It keeps you hoping, thinking,
planning and sometimes crying.

Only we human beings can manufacture this emotional simulation of life.
Anticipation not only predicts the future, it can create the future. Every cell in
your body reorganizes around the anticipatory event. As you imagine
excitement, change, love, pain, death and healing, you are in a heightened state
of readiness. You know with certainty that your life will change.

We must harness this human treasure because it can be the prelude to real
power in a creating a different world.

You must anticipate your needs by knowing what you deserve.

Anticipate your equality by knowing your value.

Anticipate your loves by knowing what is true about healthy love.

Anticipate a world that will listen to your voice and incorporate your wisdom.

Anticipate with intolerance the resistance you will get as you claim your power.

Anticipation tells you to keep your eyes open and your mind pliable because you
are the mother of the future.

Anticipate a world in which women and men stand with God in a world that
cares for the least of its children.

Commentary:

It was the Fox that taught the Little Prince the secret of what is really important in life.

“If you want to be my friend tame me,” said the Fox.

“What must I do, to tame you?” asked the Little Prince.

“You must be very patient… First you will sit down at a little distance from me like that in the grass. I shall look at you out of the corner of my eye, and you will say nothing. Words are the source of misunderstanding. But you will sit a little close to me, everyday…”

“It would have been better to come at the same hour,” said the Fox. “If, for example, you come at four in the afternoon, then at three o’clock I shall begin to be happy. I shall feel happier and happier as the hour advances. At four o’clock, I shall already be worrying and jumping about. I shall show how happy I am! But if you come at just anytime, I shall never know what hour my heart is to be ready to greet you…”
