Conscience of Others
How many times have you tried being the conscience of others? How many times have you tried being the conscience of others? You remind them of what they should say, how they should look, what they should do, how they should think and what they should give.
Their existence becomes your responsibility.
Others become a burden when their conscience is your responsibility.
As you become the conscience of others, they stop growing, and so do you.
Why do you entrap yourself in this way? Has motherhood become so distorted that it takes control of your total self ? Have you allowed others to use you as an excuse for their own immaturity, lack of motivation or insensitivity?
Being the conscience of others compromises your psychic freedoms. It can become a way that you avoid yourself to over-identify with the behavior of others.
Protect your peace. Protect your conscience by remembering the boundaries of your power.
It is then that your conscience will inspire others rather than direct them.
