Ann Mody Lewis, Ph.D.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Dr Ann Lewis earned her Bachelor’s degree at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York; her Master’s and Specialist’s degrees from Nova Southeastern University; and her Doctorate from Fairfax University. She is the President/Clinical Director of A. Lewis & Associates, P.A. and has been a private practitioner since 1985.
Ann writes extensively about gender socialization as a major influence on our psychological development. She has published two books and numerous articles on this subject. Her daily writings on Facebook, Twitter and her Blogs make gender a relevant topic to her readers. She is the recipient of NAWBO Bravo: Spirit of the Community Award, Dorland Health PEOPLE Award and inducted into the Broward County Women's Hall of Fame in 2011.
Dr Lewis has always enjoyed her clinical work and looks for creative ways to bring the wonders of psychological awareness to her clients and the community. She is also the founder of Women’s Journey, Inc. Combining her personal life experiences with her clinical skills, Dr Lewis helps her clients explore new pathways to happiness and peace.
