Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Dr Ann Lewis earned her Bachelor’s degree at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York; her Master’s and Specialist’s degrees from Nova Southeastern University; and her Doctorate from Fairfax University. She is the President/Clinical Director of A. Lewis & Associates, P.A. and has been a private practitioner since 1985.

Ann writes extensively about gender socialization as a major influence on our psychological development. She has published two books and numerous articles on this subject. Her daily writings on Facebook, Twitter and her Blogs make gender a relevant topic to her readers. She is the recipient of NAWBO Bravo: Spirit of the Community Award, Dorland Health PEOPLE Award and inducted into the Broward County Women's Hall of Fame in 2011.

Dr Lewis has always enjoyed her clinical work and looks for creative ways to bring the wonders of psychological awareness to her clients and the community. She is also the founder of Women’s Journey, Inc. Combining her personal life experiences with her clinical skills, Dr Lewis helps her clients explore new pathways to happiness and peace.

Mark J. Corsale, MD, FAPA

Mark J. Corsale, MD, FAPA

Doctor Mark J. Corsale is double boarded in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, pursued a residency in Psychiatry at the Southern Illinois School of Medicine and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. His psychoanalytic training was completed at the Psychoanalytic Institute of the Carolinas.

Dr. Corsale offers a range of services including psychiatric assessment, medication management and psychotherapy. Dr. Corsale approaches individualized patient care through a unique command of modern psychiatry, advanced psychodynamic knowledge and a thorough understanding and appreciation of developmental psychology. Dr. Corsale believes that a safe and supportive space to express one’s inner experience in words is essential. His approach to patient care is characterized by a deep capacity for compassion and an unwavering commitment to the individuals with whom he is privileged to work.

Dr, Corsale is a member of The American Psychiatric Association, The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and The Florida Psychiatric Society. He has severed faculty appointments at Emory University as a Clinical Assistant Professor, the Emory Psychoanalytic Institute as an Assistant Teaching Analyst and the University of South Carolina as an Adjunct Clinical Professor. Since 2004, his medical peers have recognized him annually by his continued inclusion in Best Doctors in America.


Antonio De Filippo, M.D.

Doctor Antonio De Filippo is triple board certified in Psychiatry , Psychosomatic Medicine and Addiction Medicine currently practicing in Broward county Florida. He is active in many areas of the medical industry and is experienced in both the treatment and management aspects of the industry. He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a consultant and national speaker to the world’s largest pharmaceutical corporations.

Dr De Filippo began his career as a double major at the University of Miami where he achieved a Bachelor in Science with honors. He continued his academic career at the University of South Florida where he earned his medical degree. He returned to Miami to complete his residency training at University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr De Filippo currently is an adjunct professor of psychopharmacology at Nova University Medical School.

Dr De Filippo is an active physician in his private practice which is comprised of three offices in Broward County. He has been, or is currently, the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, and/or on the Board of Advisors to a number of institutions including: Archways Community Mental Health Center, Susan B. Anthony Community Mental Health Center and Broward County Health Planning Council. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of South Florida Psychiatric Services. Dr De Filippo is a speaker for several major pharmaceutical corporations and is frequently requested as a consultant and trainer national medical advisory meetings. He is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.


Julie D. Bruno, Psy.D

Julie D. Bruno, Psy.D earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Composition and Communications from Florida State University. She went on to earn her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University. Julie acquired specialized training throughout her doctoral education in child, medical and forensic assessment. Additionally, she acquired training in substance abuse, co-occurring disorders and forensic psychology.

Julie utilizes an integrated approach to psychotherapy with a firm foundation in existential theory. She has special interest in the treatment of individuals with existential concerns, history of abuse and trauma, substance abuse, gender issues and family of origin issues.
