Conviction is the power of your determination.

Socialization has made you afraid of your convictions.

You may verbalize your dislike, but not set firm boundaries. You may complain, but not continue to ask for change. You may feel oppressed, but continue the behaviors that oppress you.

Standing behind and with your beliefs is being a woman of conviction. When you stand up for your convictions, your life becomes one. Peace will then follow your internal unity.

Conviction is where your power lives.
It can animate, motivate, explain or destroy you.
Without conviction your identity disappears.

Research has shown that women suffer from lack of conviction, not because they're mindless, but because culture has persuaded them that conviction is less attractive than conformity. We call women-of-conviction bitches. Women and feminist men jump with excitement as women rise to power in government, sports, entertainment and business and for good reason because in doing so they are changing culture!

We all have the right to our conviction. Whether we are right or wrong conviction is our brand, without it we have no appearance or presence in the world. Parents who silence the conviction of their children teach them to exist without a voice which surely will lead them into a depressive adult life.

Psychotherapy is the process of finding the inner voice we call conviction. By separating themselves from the unhealthy emotional restraints of childhood the client discovers their personal truth which is their conviction. The discovery is liberating because returning to their original self makes life an exciting experience. It unleashes their creativity and availability to healthy love.

Multiple studies have discovered that pent-up pain held in your body from unresolved childhood issues cause disease. More dangerous that eating unhealthy food is harboring the unhealthy belief that YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO YOUR CONVICTION!

Your conviction is that inner-garden that longs for expression. The world depends on you, right or wrong, to be who you are from the inside out.
If you are sleeping too much or hardly at all,
if you are eating too much or hardly at all
if your voice is rarely heard.. you are not living by your conviction.

Awaken this 'sleeping giant' of your existence so you can enjoy living and let others marvel at your uniqueness.
